WITHDRAWAL

Many people have to withdraw

From the world

In order to keep their sanity,

If they can do so

Without going insane;

And, if many of us didn't do so,

We'd really become

A bane to both ourselves and this world;

But because we

Keep our distance from the insanity,

We preserve

Our ability to create and contribute

In our own small way

To the betterment and uplifting

Of society.

There have been many recluse's

Before us;

They are nothing new to our time;

And most of them

Will not be bad people.
