LIFE

Life is a test

We don't mind experiencing

But we don't like to fail.

Test after test, after test,

Yet some of us are not

Good test takers.

We do our best

But nothing seems

To come out right.

Those of us like that,

We sometimes feel like we're cursed,

And like we were born

Under a bad sign,

Like we're star-crossed;

We want to give up on life,

As well as all of these tests,

But life won't let us escape

Without committing the ultimate cop-out;

So those of us who don't give up

Hang in there, one day at a time.
