WILL THE REAL BROTHERS AND SISTERS
PLEASE STAND UP?
(Written in 1998)
Are we ever going to get down to it
Like a group therapy session of two
And break through to why
You feel so uncomfortable when I'm around
Are we ever going to discover
The real reason and get beyond it
And get down to being old, dear Friends?
Alamere Falls beckons us together
With memories so sublime and sweet
And yet false life tears us apart
Making us feel so self-righteous
Allowing Alamere to fade into the past
When such real joys should not fade
And Peace should allow us to be One
Are we ever going to transcend differences
To accept eachother's uniqueness
And individualism without judgment
For no one made us God to pass sentence on
Or to shun our brothers and sisters
Who are just doing their best to survive
And stand up for what's Right and Good
Getting down to being dear, old Friends!
