Lord, grant me the serenity to accept

The things I cannot change,

The courage to change the things I can,

And the wisdom

To

Not let the people,

Whose ignorance and intolerance tick me off,

Cause me to lose my serenity and courage

To stand up against such wrongs,

And cause me to become intolerant and ignorant

In my own shortsighted ways,

Or

To even intermittently

Lose my cool and do anything which in any way

Harms myself and others', even if those others'

Have provoked me to justified anger

Due to their shortsighted ignorance and intolerance

Which has blinded them

To

Themselves,

And causes them to be vindictive and manipulative

To the point of seeking to assault or harm me

For standing up against their evil ways.
